The procedure is over, the nerves have settled and the instructions have been given. Instructions are as follows, but not limited to: no exercise for 14 days other than walking. Enjoy your husband tonight and tomorrow, heh. Start prometrium today, 3 times a day until you get your blood test on the 2nd. If you’re pregnant then continue for 8 weeks. If you’re pregnant and your levels are low, fill the prescription for the injectable progesterone [that one goes in the butt!] and will be daily for 10 weeks. If you’re not pregnant, we will start new medication, Lupron.
If this IUI takes, I get to have an ultrasound the first week of March to see my baby for the first time. If this cycle takes I will be due October 11, 2011. If this cycle takes they will do whatever it takes medication wise to keep the pregnancy. So keep your fingers crossed that this cycle takes.
